Welcome to my Web site!Huh...what to say about me? Let's start from the day I saw the first sunshine.Well, dont ask me how was that experience. But I guess it was cool for me.After all I joined the club Homo sapience. I born in a big industrial town of India,Burnpur. It was the place of steel and coal.Only thing people know about is business.Money money and money.....this is the final word in this smoky township in west part of West Bengal.Thank God!I dont have to stay there for long time.I moved back to my small village,Kajoragram very soon.Life was like a small pond there.Electricity was a far away dream. Most of the people were out of the light of education. Then again.....I moved towards my very own place...Chinsurah.I can not really remember those days when I first came to this small township. But with time,I found this town as the best place on earth. Life was smooth in this small green place.People can take enough fresh air in the three big grounds in the west bank of river Ganga. Its place of peace.I spent 19 years here. I had my education in Hooghly Collegiate School, the best in our district......surely in education as also in "soitani".I can remember how many times we were cursed by those beautiful girls of Banimandir. It was a really funny time for us during the day's end.Hahahaha!!! After the fun time at school we meet again at evening with our friends....and again...fun fun and fun...with the new smoke of cheap cigarettes. We could hardly understand how time reaches to 10p.m.We have to walk back towards our home at that time. And it was a routine for us...be it rain...be it freezing cold( well I had no idea of freezing cold at that time untill I landed in Lincoln, but that's a different story). I can also remember those days of "Private".Picking my backpacks I used to go to the coaching classes..and enjoyed another session of fun. That was teh school life. There are actually so much of good memories that I can not tell you all about them here. But I always want to be there in my school life if it is at all possible, offcourse with all my friends. We had a mischievous group at Chinsurah.Arnab Biswas,Arnab Das, Somok, Saibal, Debu, Raju, Santanu, Buchi er Bhuchir dada,Rintu, Mrittun er Sougata. With the pace of time we are now scattered all over the world. But still we share the warmth of friendship. After lots of ups and downs of life finally I went to Belur. Ramkrishna Mission Vidyamandira was an big experience in my life.I was there to finish my BSc in Chemistry. But three years in that divine college gives me a chance to learn a lot about life. Education was never a easy job in my college. Lots of competition.....failure and success...that was the story at RKM. Life was horrible for me.It starts with a morning prayer at 5.30am,midnight for me!! at RKM. Then study hour....lunch at 9.00am!!continuous classes upto 5pm with a small break at 1.00pm.After the classes we had some good time with freinds. We used to go to the Math....hey..not to pray for us....but see some good gals.We were like inhuman being inside campus. So whenever we got a chance...we just cherish that.Anyway...thats possibly the nature of that very age. Finally after lots of fight I came out of that jail with a first class degree in Chemistry Honours from the University of Calcutta. ......And join a new age of my life.I joined IIT Kharagpur for MSc. Patel Hall soon became my new home out home. And hey!!! thats called life. Wake up at 7,go to class at 7.30.Return back at 5pm...and the whole night is yours for fun. All I do at that place was spending time with no utility.I can still recall the night before our Quantun Chenistry exam when we all watched "Basic I" in cable. Then...write up the GRE and TOEFL and made a long jump like Hanumanji. Where I am?.....right now 8000 miles away from home.....in a small apartment in USA. I am doing my PhD in Chemistry here in the University of Nebraska,Lincoln.UNL is a small university with 35000 students. Although I am student of Chemistry right now I am working on Molecular Biology.I hate those rubbish in organic chemistry labs. Organics stink!!
